Operating faster and more reliably than traditional temperature sensors, it continuously monitors hydrogen gas to provide an immediate warning of impending failure. When a potential hotspot is detected, the system automatically verifies the alarm by filtering the gas stream to confirm the presence of thermally produced particles. Once verified, it triggers emergency contacts and automatically traps a sample of the particles, allowing plant operators to conduct laboratory analysis and pinpoint the exact source of the overheating before catastrophic damage occurs.
